As the unsung heroes of the local community, our awards seek to recognise pubs across the UK. Our categories span the wide contribution that pubs make to their communities, from grassroots sport and fundraising to sustainability and community support.
For three of the four categories, we have individual entries for England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Entries for the 2026 awards are now closed and winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at the House of Commons on Tuesday 8th September 2026 in partnership with the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group.

Recognising licensees who help their communities. Many pubs offer vital support to their local communitie: delivering supplies or cooking hot meals for vulnerable residents, or keeping people connected through regular meals, quizzes or chats. If your pub is a ‘good neighbour’ to your local community, then this award is for you.
Recognising pubs who support charities and other good causes through fund raising
Recognising pubs who support charities and other good causes through fundraising. This can be through a collection tin on the bar, charity events ranging from quizzes or auctions through to fun days, or sponsored challenges by the licensee, team members or pub customers.
Recognising a pub that truly supports grassroots sport in its area or brings the community together via sporting events.
Pubs contribute over £40m each year to community sport. We want to hear about how your pub supports your sport in your community. From kit, to sponsorship to hosting events are you pub -we are looking for stand out examples to showcase the important role pubs play to the health and wellbeing of their community.
Recognising the efforts of a pub going above and beyond in terms of helping to protect the environment locally.
Are you a pub that cares about your environment and works hard to offer a sustainable solutions for your community. From pub gardens, community projects, rain water concepts and way more, we want to hear about the innovative ways you support your environment.
