WHAT WE DO

PubAid runs a number of campaigns during the year, each focusing on a different aspect of the support pubs and pub companies offer their communities.

OUR INITIATIVES

Our initiatives include the World’s Biggest Pub Quiz, which has raised £750,000 for charities since its launch in 2016, and an annual competition to find our Community Pub Heroes - the pubs who go the extra mile to support their communities.

World's Biggest Pub Quiz

Every year, thousands of pubs take part in the World's Biggest Pub Quiz, raising money for hundreds of charities. Since launch in 2016, the quiz has raised £750,000 in total. Community Pub Hero Awards

Our annual awards, sponsored by Matthew Clark and run by the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group, recognise the fantastic support provided by pubs for their communities and charity. This year, pubs can choose to enter one of five categories: Community Support Hero, Charity Fundraising Hero...

Corporate Community Award

We recognise pub companies and breweries who support charities and good causes, presenting one company each year with our Corporate Community Hero award, run with the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group. The current holder is Hall & Woodhouse, announced July 2022.

Nominate Your Pub for a national honour

Thousands of licensees do great work for charity and their local communities every year. If you know one who is really exceptional, perhaps you could consider nominating them for an honour (probably an MBE). Find out more here...
